Performance Images has only one photographer and that's me, Robert Michon. Let me tell ya a bit about myself. First of all, I am happily married to a wonderful lady and have 6 children to keep me busy, (just call it a real life Brady Bunch and leave it at that). I really need to thank my wife and kids, they truly support all the things I do.
My interests include Music, Computers, Photography, and Auto Racing. I am a big fan of 80's Rock, the hair band era. I graduated from high school in 1984, what do you expect?? While I won't openly admit it, there have been unconfirmed reports (unless you find the right person) of me wearing black sleeveless t-shirts with studded neck and arm holes, parachute pants, bandanas, and handcuffs for a belt buckle. Some even say I wore these all on the same day to an undisclosed event at Joe Louis Arena!!
Some of my favorite songs include Mr. Crowley by Ozzy Osbourne, Live Wire by Motley Crue, Bad Boys by Whitesnake, and Another Thing Comin' by Judas Priest. I have ten computers. Mine is fondly named TESLA, after the man who discovered the magic of modern stereo radio. My wife's computer is named Chancy, after a car she once owned. The others have no names but have been referred to rather colorfully a time or two. My favorite computer game is undoubtedly Asheron's Call, those of you who play can find me in Thistledown, I am not tellin' my name. I also enjoy flight and racing sims. My favorite thing to do with a computer---break it so I can fix it.
I absolutely love Auto Racing. This I can blame on my parents. You see, dad raced when I was very young. He sat me in his car at about 1 year old and I guess that is when it happened. They say you can take the boy outta the race car but you can't take the race car outta the boy. They are right!!! Something about the color, sound and speed just keeps my interest. That distinctive aroma of racing fuel doesn't hurt either.
Camping, Hunting, Fishing, Hiking--and give up 90 degree Saturday afternoons under the sun walking around on asphalt hot enough to make the rubber soles of your shoes slippery? Give me a break!!
You thought I forgot photography didn't you? What kind of photographer would not be interested in photography!! Yes, like my computers, I have names for my cameras as well, we won't go into details about their names but they are Cindy, Charlotte, Jones, Jennifer, and one yet to be named, rest assured it is female!!
This one captures the essence of photography. Drawing by Steve McPeak
What man in his right mind would refuse a shot with these ladies? Maybe I should say I was single and besides, they asked me for the picture...said they liked my jacket!!--Thanks for the shot JC
What did I say about Saturdays?...Well it happens on Sunday too, and I am usually carrying enough gear to make even a camper flinch.-WBVS Photo |
